Pumpkin Patches in Oklahoma City

Whether you are looking for pumpkin patches in Oklahoma City for family fun, photo ops, or just a general obsession with all things fall, I’ve got a list of great places in the Oklahoma City area that will fulfill any of your pumpkin-inclusive needs.

I personally love a good pumpkin patch that is simply that – a pumpkin patch. No hay rides, no creepy adults dressed up as whatever, just me and the pumpkins. But my list does include pumpkin patches in Oklahoma City that do have activities as well.

So let’s get into it.

The Stand

This is very much my style. A variety of pumpkins, hay bales, and decorative corn are being sold in a random parking lot. This parking lot actually gets transformed seasonally so in the fall, it’s a pumpkin patch. Winter = Christmas trees. Spring = plants. You get it.

I love this particular patch because again, no frills. It’s also not out of the way – located in Edmond at Broadway and 15th St. They take cash and card. They have a really good variety of decorative pumpkins, pie pumpkins, carving pumpkins, gourds, all of that.

Open: TBD (typically October and November)

Orr Family Farm

Arguably one of the most well-known pumpkin patches is at Orr Family Farm. This place really does have the whole package as far as activities go.

You can do glamping year-round, and their seasonal events include a pumpkin patch (that’s what you’re here for, remember), train rides, games, and an overwhelming amount more.

Open: September 23 – November 11

Pumpkinville at The Myriad Gardens

If you haven’t heard about Pumpkinville at the Myriad Gardens, you must not be from here. It is a big freakin production. They put a lot into transforming their grounds and their kids’ play park into a magical pumpkin experience.

It is truly a sight to see. There are a ton of activities and a rotation of events and food trucks. You can also reserve time slots to get access to the space outside of operating hours for photo shoots if that’s what you’re after in your quest to find pumpkin patches in OKC.

Open: October 6-22

The Pumpkin Patch at Katie Bug’s

This pumpkin patch is one of the more unique ones in the city. It’s hosted by Katie Bug’s which is a dessert specialty shop and they always have SUCH FUN events going on all year long, but their fall and winter seasonal events are hands-down the best around.

You’ll have to grab a hot chocolate with their homemade marshmallows while you are there. AH-MAZING. Back to the pumpkins, they have a wide variety of pumpkins and it always makes for cute photos because their space is cute + pumpkins! I mean, come on.

Open: Exact Dates TBD – Usually October and November

Harvest Market at Red Bird Farm

Ok, so this isn’t in Oklahoma City, but sometimes you have to travel a bit to get that rural farm feel. Red Bird Farm hosts its annual Harvest Market filled with pumpkins, a corn maze, and food trucks. This year, their event is taking place on Saturday, September 30 from 9 am – 5 pm. Located in Enid, OK, this is just a short 1.5-hour drive from OKC.

Open: Saturday, September 30 from 9 am to 5 pm

I will add to this list as I find new pumpkin patches, but there’s definitely a good variety to start!
